TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR apartment RENTALS

 

 

 

1 – GENERAL TERMS

1-1 Everyone who wants to use our services must have reached the age of majority and should be responsible for the payment of the services contracted with us.

1-2 Only Sibaires reserves the right to modify these "terms and conditions" at any time and without prior notice. Please read the following terms carefully each time you visit our site.

1-3 All trademarks, trade names, pictures, logotypes and text of Sibaires website are protected under copyrights. Any reproduction is prohibited by law without our written consent.

1-4 Sibaires has links to other websites which are operated independently from ours. Sibaires is not responsible for the content presented on these websites.

1-5 Our policy is to respect and to keep all the personal information sent to our website private. All information will be collected, used and stored only by Sibaires which may use this information to contact you in the future to inform you of services that may be of interest to you.

1-6 Some e-mails send over the Internet may be subject to possible interceptions, losses or alterations. In any of these cases, we are not responsible for that and for any damages it could bring.

2 – CONDITIONS OF USE

2-1 Making a reservation with us implies that you check the "terms and conditions" written below. In no case should a reservation be made without understanding of our policies.

3 – RESERVATION

3-1 First you have to navigate in our website and chose the apartments which you would like to stay during your trip in Argentina. Then, you have to check the availability dates to know if the apartment will be available during your stay.

3-2 The reservation on our website should be made at least one week prior to your arrival (if that time is not respect, we can not guarantee you the availability of the apartment).

3-3 After sending the form, Sibaires will contact you within the next 48 hours to explain how to confirm the reservation and to supply information such as availability, prices, services chosen and the means of payment. Without a response within 48 hours, we recommend that you contact us again via mail or phone depending on the urgency of your request (any kind of technical failure, omissions, wrongly typed e-mail could generated a delivery error - which is not of our responsibility).

3-4 Once you receive our reply, you will have to confirm your reservation by following the instructions from our e-mail. Those instructions will explain how much will be the "reservation deposit" to pay for final confirmation.

3-5 During these steps, Sibaires will ask you the names and ages of all the people who will stay in the apartment. Adding people to what was previously established without notifying us could be a sufficient reason to cancel the reservation.

4 – CONFIRMATION

4-1 Final confirmation will be sent upon reception of payment of the “reservation deposit”, which is equivalent to 20% of the total rental amount. It can be paid in cash (US dollars, Euros or Pesos), via bank transfer (all wire transfer fees will be at your charge), by credit card on the site or via “Western Union” services. For any other means of payment, please contact our customer service representative. The amount of the “reservation deposit” will be deducted from the final bill.

4-2 The reservation is completely achieved when this step is done and once, we send you an e-mail confirming reception of your payment.

5 – PAYMENT

5-1 You have to be sure to have with you the necessary funds in cash before your arrival at the apartment (Unless you paid all the amount by wire before your arrival).

5-2 During check-in, you will have to pay the "damage deposit" and the total rental price (less the amount you paid for the "reservation deposit"). The “damage deposit”, which will be returned upon your departure, is equivalent to the total rental amount, though will exceed the equivalent of one month's rent.

6 – ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

6-1 Upon your arrival, our goal will be to provide the best services. It will be to answer to any problem and request quickly and efficiently whenever and however it happens.

6-2 One of our members will be in the flat to welcome you and orient you around the apartment (at a time previously agreed to by both parties), to assist you during your stay and to check everything before your departure. He will make you sign the rental agreement with the inventory, receive the remainder of your balance, the “damage deposit” (if it was not done before) and the guest will received the keys. He will also be available to answer any questions you may have about the district, places to visit and entertainment in the area.

6-3 The check in time is 14:00 but can be negotiated later or earlier if the apartment was empty the morning of the same day. A passport or national ID copy must be presented at check-in.

6-4 The check out time is 10:00 but could be negotiated later if no other guests arrive the same day. The check out time should be decided during the check in time. The apartment should be in the same condition as at the check in time. At that time, the keys should be given back and the “damage deposit” will be refund.

7 – DAMAGES

7-1 For any damages caused in the apartments, we are free to ask you to pay them in accordance with the cost of the damage. In that case, the cost to repair the damages will be deducted from the “damage deposit”. If the cost to repair any damage exceeds the amount of the “damage deposit” the difference must be paid by the guest.

8 - INCONVENIENCES / Relocation

8-1 During your stay, we ask you to call or to write us as soon as any inconvenience or any fault in the facilities functioning occurred.

8-2 If any unfortunate event makes your stay impossible in the apartments you have chosen, our obligation will be to relocate you in a place with similar characteristics.

9 – LENGTH OF THE STAY

9-1 Sibaires and the home owners reserve the right to refuse a stay inferior to one week.

10 – SERVICES INCLUDED

10-1 The rent includes an array of services (property’s common expenses, taxes, gas, light, water). All the extra-services such as Cable TV, Internet, guardian or maid service should be mentioned in the property details. All the apartments and property are furnished and equipped with kitchen, towels and bed sheets.

11 – CANCELLATION & STAY EXTENSION

11-1 In the case the guest cancels his reservation 1 month or more before the scheduled check in day, no penalty will be charged (excepted all wire transfer fees).

11-2 If the cancellation happens less than 1 month before the arrival, the "reservation deposit" will not be refundable. Other payment will be refundable with a deduction of all wire transfer fees.

11-3 If the guest wants to extend / shorten his stay, he has to inform Sibaires as soon as he makes his decision. Sibaires and the property owner have the right to refuse an extension (if the apartment is reserved by another guest). If the extension is possible, a separate contract will be written. In this case, the price and the "damage deposit" will be recalculated.
